Chiptunes, the melody of yesteryear. How we miss you so much! The blippity blops of the C64, Amiga and Nintendo. The scrolling action and the endless bugs and hacks that made these platforms the happy memory they are today. But lets not forget the music! The endless loops that made us remember why we actually played the games that sometimes were so crappy that they were unplayable.
Nothing makes us more happy these days as when we spot videos that reminds us of the times past. This remake of “Saihate” by Hatsune Miku is one of them!
This chalboard-based Hatsune Miku PV is surely one of the more original music videos I’ve ever seen coming out of the vocaloid-genre. It seems like it may be inspired by similar videos, such as this Firekites music video or this Arctic Monkeys video, but it’s hard to say.
The only comment left by the creator is that he “doesn’t understand why chalkboards doesn’t have layers…”, but check out his other videos if you like what you see.
