Pani Poni is a sweet parody series made by the same type of people who made SZBS and it involves at least as many internet memes as the latter.
The latest OAV episode was recently leaked out on nicovideo, and you can just wonder if it wasn’t leaked by the staff themselves. The episode seems to be based around loads of nicovideo memes as even the site in itself is shown. You’ll also notice a lot of both visual and contextual references to American movies like Heat, so it seems like the creators follow a lot of popular media and bases their jokes around them.
