Nicovideo: Comment buttons
June 19, 2008
You can now create button comments in nicovideo. This means that you can make comments that other can click, making it easier for other to make the same comment without having to write it. This is useful for votes among other things.
For example, lets say that you say “うp主、愛してる!” on some video, and you know that many others will say the same. You can make that comment into a button by writing “@ボタン うp主、愛してる!“. By doing so it’ll become a button that scrolls over the video that people can click to make the same comment.
You can also mix text and button by writing “@ボタン 「どう思う? [うp主、愛してる!]」where the message inside 「」 will become the button.
This seems to only work in Firefox 3 for the moment, but please tell me what you have experienced. Comment buttons only works once per video, and the function is only usable if there are at least 3000 comments logged for the video in question. It also turns out that it became premium members only over night. You can find more info at nico nico douga help.
