Based on the famous Hatsune Miku song and video “初音ミクの消失” (The erasure of Hatsune Miku), now comes yet another music video to the oldie but goodie, -VAVAVA END-. This remix uses the voice from Kusakabe Misao, a background character in Lucky☆Star, like a vocaloid by cutting and pasting different audio segments, making her sing☆
Who is your favorite Lucky star character? I really like Kagamin but Misao is up there!
It’s funny how memes spread around, over continents, language barriers and websites. Stuff like Yukkuri, which should be unrecognizable for the western audience (or really, anyone outside of japans touhou otaku circle) has a great following all over the world. And then there is DCF.
Some guy had a lot of time and drew a video for the parody of Kagamine Rins Meltdown where KAITO sings of his lust for small girls.
Was that hard to understand? Just watch the video. You’ll understand…
Note that this is all drawn with a mouse and nothing else. It apparently took a couple of months to complete it!
Kagamine Rin is a vocaloid type of software made by Crypton. Many of you know that. Many of you also know that the voice of the Kagamine siblings is made from the voice of Shimoda Asami (下田麻美) who also voices the Futami twins in The Idolm@ster.
Now, what happens if someone doesn’t want to pay for that software and instead takes sound clips from Idolm@ster and starts to use them in UTAU instead?
This:
There are more examples of people borrowing soundclips from anime-series and CDs to make new vocaloids from them. Try the 人力Vocaloid-tag at nicovideo (people-powered vocaloid) to find more.
This is not as much as a song as it is the beginning of a story. You could say that it’s a prequel for Kagamine siblings search for each other. I love the images but the song is quite flat.
