Fan or fanatic: Figurines

There is a small border, a thin line to cross, to go from being a fan to becoming a fanatic of something. Many Touhou fans are, as I’ve stated before, quite fanatic. They create their own touhou games, write and draw fiction and even cosplay as the characters.
The question is; how far up on the fanatic curve is this guy?

Note that the figurine is created from scratch. ⑨ sure have a lot of fans!☆
